The club was pleased to welcome Don Stazicker this Tuesday to give a presentation to club members
Don is based near to Bakewell and most of his fishing takes place on the Derbyshire Wye. He was a new speaker for the club and members were treated to a superb evening which opened a few eyes and challenged many established theories we have on fly fishing. He has studied and filmed trout behaviour with colleague Peter Hayes for many years resulting in many new ideas on how we fish. We hope to invite Don back next season when he will tie some of the flies he talked about this week.
