On 5th November the club held its annual fishing competition at Bransford Fishery near Worcester. Fourteen members took part, fishing the two lakes at the fishery. The morning started with a breakfast laid on by Emily and Terry and fishing started at 9.00am. From the first two fish caught by each member the heaviest fish was registered for the competition. Fishing finished at 1.00pm with only one dry net recorded. Unfortunately there was no outright winner as three anglers weighed in a fish of the same weight as the heaviest fish. After the fishing we had a lunch laid on by Emily which went down very well after the mornings fishing. The event was as much a social get together as the fishing which is something the club places great importance on. Our thanks go to Emily and Terry for their efforts in helping to make it an enjoyable day for everyone.
